A deal unit is one separately accepted piece of commercial work: a platform order, one-off campaign, monthly retainer cycle, renewal, distinct deliverable package, or paid-usage extension. One brand can create several deal units over time, so this is a career-workload count—not a claim of 1,000 unique brands.
